ENACCT Holds First Learning Session for NCCTBC

This October, ENACCT kicked off the first of three Learning Sessions for its National Cancer Clinical Trials Breakthrough Collaborative (NCCTBC). Representatives from each of the six grantee sites - Avera Mckenna Hospital and University Health Center, Bayhealth Medical Center, Georgia Health Sciences University MB-CCOP, Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Queens Medical Center, and West Clinic - along with over a dozen experts in the field participated in the two-day Learning Session. Attendees participated in a highly interactive process in which they were able to learn from faculty and colleagues, receive individual coaching from faculty, gather new knowledge on clinical trials accrual and process improvement, share experiences and collaborate on improvement plans, and problem-solve important barriers.

For additional news on the NCCTBC and details on the Learning Session please look out for the upcoming edition of ENACCTion, ENACCT's newsletter, which will include a feature on the project and is set to be released in early November 2011
