In the article entitled "Engaging Referring Physicians in the Clinical Trial Process," Margo Michaels, ENACCT executive director in addition to colleagues from ASCO, NCI, and Massachusetts General Hospital-Harvard Medical School, discuss the important role of referring physicians in facilitating access for patients to cancer clinical trials. In this article, the authors discuss practical strategies for engaging these physicians and building relationships to ultimately increase accrual.
