Program Goals and Objectives

The goal of the ENACCT PEP is to demonstrate the impact of a community-driven outreach and education program to increase awareness about cancer clinical trials, enhance their acceptability, and improve access to them. To meet this goal, the three selected Partnerships will work to accomplish the following objectives:

• Change knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs about clinical trials among health care providers and community leaders.
• Enhance the acceptability of clinical trials among community members.
• Increase the number of inquiries about clinical trials.
• Increase the number of referrals to clinical trials.
• Reduce local barriers to clinical trial access.
