PEP Goals and Objectives Application Process Funded Programs Why is This Program Important?

Application Process

The competitive application process has five stages:

  1. Interested community partnerships submit Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 of
the application guide by July 11, 2005 at 5pm EST. The materials must be received by ENACCT on or before that date-not simply postmarked by that date. ENACCT will send a confirmation e-mail.
  2. The review committee, which consists of people with practical
experience in community partnerships and in relevant fields, will select Partnerships from the original submission pool that will be invited to submit full proposals.
  3. Those Partnerships will be sent e-mail notification on August 19,
2005, and asked to submit full proposals by September 30, 2005. (All others will be notified that they were not selected.)
  4. The review committee will evaluate the full proposals. If a proposal
receives a high rating, the review committee may conduct telephone interviews with participants and people in the community to clarify any questions about the application.
  5. Grant recipients will be notified December 9, 2005. There will be a
weeklong orientation beginning February 11, 2006.
