Communities as Partners in Cancer Clinical Trials

Implementation Partners Project

Communities as Partners in Cancer Clinical Trials has awarded grants to four cancer research organizations to improve cancer clinical trial participation through innovative community engagement strategies. The four organizations, known as "Implementation Partners," were selected from a nationwide pool of 43 applicants seeking to implement recommendations from the recently released national report, Communities as Partners in Cancer Clinical Trials: Changing Research, Practice and Policy. ENACCT and CCPH will be working with the Implementation Partners throughout 2009, providing seed grant funding, as well as technical assistance and on-site training.
