Involving Communities as Partners in Cancer Clinical Trials, co-authored by Margo Michaels, ENACCT Executive Director, and Sarena Seifer, CCPH Executive Director, is a primer on community based participatory research (CBPR) and the U.S. cancer clinical trial enterprise. The paper also offers an innovative vision for integrating CBPR principles into each step of the cancer clinical trial process.

Representatives of influential stakeholder groups, including NCI staff, patient advocates/survivors, oncologists, clinical trial researchers, minority health specialists, CBPR experts and others, were invited to submit commentaries on the paper.
