About ENACCT's History

Our Vision

ENACCT's vision is to achieve the highest quality cancer care and research through clinical trials.

Our Mission

ENACCT’s mission is to improve access to cancer clinical trials through education and collaboration with communities, health care providers, and researchers.

After nearly ten years of service to the cancer community, the Board of Directors of the Education Network to Advance Cancer Clinical Trials (ENACCT) has made the difficult decision to close its doors on March 31, 2014. Our products and tools available to the public through this website, offering free access to many of our educational products and tools. Margo Michaels will serve as ENACCTs’ volunteer Board President through 2015, along with a volunteer board of directors.

Our Accomplishments

ENACCT was founded in 2004 and is the only national organization devoted solely to identifying, implementing and evaluating innovative community-centered approaches to cancer clinical trials education. We seek to increase cancer clinical trial participation and access to quality care for all cancer patients— especially those who are from underserved communities.

Our Past Supporters

ENACCT’s work would not be possible without the generous support of its contributors and partners who are committed to changing cancer care in communities nationwide by making cancer clinical trials an option for all people with cancer.
